I have a fun new kids pattern to share with you today! The Doll Backpack Carrier Crochet Pattern is perfect for both 15″ and 18″ dolls.
My daughters want to take their dolls everywhere they go now, so of course I had to crochet a carrier for them. I wanted to design something that would be easy for them to put on and take the dolls in out by themselves. They have tested them out and these backpacks definitely fit the bill!
They have both 15″ and 18″ dolls, so I designed the backpack in two sizes. I also included strap adjustments for different size girls. There are separate strap lengths for ages 2-4, 5-7, and 8-10.
Wouldn’t this backpack carrier make a great birthday or Christmas gift?
All you need is two skeins of The Tape fabric yarn (I used We are Knitters*). You can use any bulky yarn for this project, but I really liked using this fabric yarn. Having a lot of experience with kids and yarn, I wanted something that would be durable and could hold up to lots of wear and tear.
