Today I get to share with you this fun new way to crochet a boho wall hanging for your home or office!
I love a simple and quick refresh to my home decor and this project fits the bill! I designed this wall hanging to be quick to make with very few materials. You may already have them all on hand!
You’ll just need a ball of wool yarn, a crochet hook, and a stick. I actually found my stick at the local craft store, because it was pouring rain when I was finishing this project. But I would much prefer to go on a nature walk with my family and bring one home as a memory.
This project is great for the adventurous beginner who wants to learn something new.
The written pattern comes with a link to this short video on how to SC3LO. It’s a pretty cool stitch!
Here are a few more details from the Boho Wall Hanging PDF pattern:
Bulky weight wool yarn 115 yds (I used one ball of The Petite Wool in Ivory from We are Knitters.)
7mm crochet hook
branch or dowel at least 7” long (The branch shown is 16” long and 1.5” diameter.)
4” = 8 sc X 7 rows
6” x 13” (not including the branch).
Abbreviations and Special Stitches:
Bobble: ch 2, yo, insert hook into next st, pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2 loops on hook, * yo, insert hook into the same st, pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2 loops on hook repeat from *2 more times, yo pull through all 5 loops on hook
